Oh it looks likely that Tim Henman is going to retire from tennis. I must admit that it’s about time .. cos let’s face it, he never wins anything does he!!!

One of my first jobs in acting was for the BBC children’s programme ‘Grange Hill’. I’ve just found out that they are proposing to celebrate the longevity of the show by releasing Series 1, 2, 3 and 4 on DVD. I played a character called ‘Mary Johnson’, and I was one of the initial twenty or something children who Anna Home, the Series Producer and Colin Cant, The Director dished out the initial parts to. My husband Andrew Ian Dodge, is looking forward to the DVD release so that he can see me as a teenager!!

Well I’ve been looking into getting a dog because my husband is ‘broody’ for a puppy as he is missing his Belgian Sheep Dog who is now resident in Maine. My parents have a ‘Border Terrier’ who is the most friendly, fun loving dog I’ve ever met. Therefore, I’ve been looking into the ‘Terrier’ breed and recently come across The Boston Terrier. These dogs sometimes called ‘Boston Bulls’ used to be bred for ‘fighting’ but are now being bred as domestic pets. They are good for apartment living, family dogs and don’t need much exercise to keep their lean and muscular shapes. They are very loyal and make good guard dogs as they only bark when necessary. I must say they are not as ‘pretty’ as Border Terriers as they look like a cross between a border terrier (with short hair) and a staffordshire bull terrier but they do have a special something. Donald Trump has proposed to save - Britney, Paris and Lyndsey … WHY????? What is it with stars who get their fame and fortunes too young? Let them get on with all their excesses I say .. it makes for much better reading than if they were all sensible and sobre.
