Well I’ve been looking into getting a dog because my husband is ‘broody’ for a puppy as he is missing his Belgian Sheep Dog who is now resident in Maine. My parents have a ‘Border Terrier’ who is the most friendly, fun loving dog I’ve ever met. Therefore, I’ve been looking into the ‘Terrier’ breed and recently come across The Boston Terrier. These dogs sometimes called ‘Boston Bulls’ used to be bred for ‘fighting’ but are now being bred as domestic pets. They are good for apartment living, family dogs and don’t need much exercise to keep their lean and muscular shapes. They are very loyal and make good guard dogs as they only bark when necessary. I must say they are not as ‘pretty’ as Border Terriers as they look like a cross between a border terrier (with short hair) and a staffordshire bull terrier but they do have a special something.
