Well well, nobody said that money buys you taste. Check these pictures out of Victoria Beckham . What was she thinking? Who is advising her? It’s almost drag queen worthy ….

We are thinking of redecorating and I want to find somewhere ‘out of sight’ where I can store any leftover paint just in case I need to re-do anything at a later stage. I was looking around our house and we’ve got ’stuff’ everywhere and it was really beginning to get on my nerves. All our cupboards were full so there was no room for it there! So I decided to look for ways to increase my space for storing things, like paint, shelving, D.I.Y tools which was both dry but accessible. I found this really handy site which had loads of usefulstorage solutions with lots of different ways to hide away that ‘mess’ you don’t want other people to see.

I was pleased to see that the Labour Party as a direct result of the popular vote have increased the threshold for Inheritance Tax from 300K to 600k for couples. So here it is outlined in the Telegraph what does this change in the level of inheritance tax mean to you. However, I still feel that the inheritance tax threshold should be raised significantly higher as it is a totally immoral tax anyway. People have already paid tax throughout their lives so why do they have to pay tax on what is effectively their savings once again …

Now that I am blogging regularly my husband Andrew suggested it might be a good idea for me to write a few posts for hire. He has been doing PPP since they started and overall he seems happy with them. If you don’t know its a form of blog marketing where I get to write the content of the advertisement rather than having some naff copy imposed on me to post. One of the reasons I am doing PPP is that I plan, once I get a handle on blogging, to move off Blogspot. I already have my own url K T Dodge.com and I would like to move to Wordpress sooner or later. Andrew raves about it and so do some of his blogging friends.
Its a shame that Andrew and I will not be able to attend the Postiecon in early November but we need to head home to Blighty to take care of things there. If all goes well and I like PPP who knows we might be able to make it next year. I would like to go to Las Vegas as I have yet to make it there. Lots of my mates have been there and love it. It would be a great laugh to be in Las Vegas with a bunch of fellow posties. I am looking forward to see what this new thing called Argus is all about that I have been reading about on the PPP blog and emails. I will make sure to read the forums now that I am one of them; to make sure I know what is going on.
A year ago I was not even a blogger and now I am a PPP blogger. How fast life changes with new technology.
