Neighbours were awoken in Cathays, Cardiff by a Czech National howling like a wolf in a tree at 6.30am. Most of his neighbours were annoyed because he had woken them up before their alarms went off. Not only that but the police were called in and the road blocked until 8.30am. The Czech National who after telling the neighbours to mind their own business when they shouted to him to shut up, refused to speak any more English, and an interpreter had to be called to the scene, when he was finally coaxed out of the tree, he was checked over by the ambulance crew and then later taken to a local mental hospital. My question is how much would all this nonsense have cost the tax payer? Surely a few pair of earplugs would have sufficed?

We all have things that we do not like about our bodies and more and more of us are opting for plastic surgery to give us that perfect pair of boobs or pert bottom. Obviously,Plastic Surgery can be a major procedure and therefore, it is very important to find the right place to have it done. We’ve all heard the horror stories of people who have had bad plastic surgery jobs done which have actually ruined their lives instead of improving them so that is why it is so important to make sure the Surgery that you go to has a good reputation. One of the best ways to find a good surgery is to get a personal recommendation from somebody who has already had the procedure that you want done successfully.

However, if you don’t know anybody, ask the clinic to put you in contact with a patient of theirs whose had the same procedure and speak to them. Other helpful tips would be to make sure your surgery is registered with the General Medical Council – www.gmc-uk.org, or Seek a practitioner who is also a member of either the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons or the British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons. Visit www.baaps.org.uk and www.bapras.org.uk. Remember plastic surgery can be a major operation and therefore, should not be jumped into, a good surgery will consult with you honestly and not sell something to you that you don’t need.

Ratatouille Update

I was pleased to learn that since the release of the animated hit film Ratatouille - furry rats have been flying off the shelves and become high on the list of kids favourite cuddly toy. The film’s unlikely heroin, a white rat, with friendly big eyes does seem a cute thing to own …. hey parents let’s hope they don’t find a real one in the back garden to bring home! Did you know that rats are always only a foot away from most homes!

Hey my husband Andrew will be pleased I will now be able to buy ‘heavy metal’ attire at hugely inflated prices now that it’s gone couture this season. No more purchases from outdoor stalls in Camden market. I can satisfy my urge for designer gear and still satisfy my husband’s penchant for medieval chic.

Ghosts ….

Now I’m not sure if I really believe in ghosts however, I do find the whole subject fascinating. It seems that there is a new guide out that gives the top ten most haunted National Trust Buildings across Britain. Now of course this could just be a very good marketing ploy, but being National Trust buildings they are not only beautiful but, the ghosts all seem to have quite magnificent historical value. Actually I would like to go and stay in a so-called haunted house to see for myself if there is anything spiritual floating about. It may simply be, old buildings that creak with mildew and damp create a spooky atmosphere and excite our imaginations … who knows unless you take the plunge and check it out for yourself.
